Having read the "source" of said drama I have to say that regardless of some of the posts, I'm very glad that you brought it up. I think it's an important and very serious issue and you should be commended for broaching the subject! *virtual zhagareet*!!

Sherri I don't know you personally, but I'm terribly sorry for your predicament. :( Boy, what a wonder it would be to have to not have huge financial burdens, and in your case the financial burden shouldn't have been there in the first place. * lots of hugs from a stranger*

Sherri - it's so interesting that you started this thread...and all my blessings go out to you. There is nothing worse than having health issues. Stay strong, but remember it's totally natural to break down. And touch your injuries to give them healing ju-ju!

The reason why it's interesting you bring this up...was because I was wondering, how do teachers handle insurance for the classes that they teach. I mean, even massage therapists have insurance. What happens if someone hurts their back during a class and sues. And those clauses students may sign when taking a class that basically state "I won't sue if I get injured" are not legal contracts. They can still sue and they can still win.

Should I start another thread on this? Maybe on the Biz of Bellydance?
Has anyone ever had that happen?
